Newbs to the always changing BMW, it doesn't matter when you buy it, BMW will have something out newer, faster, etc within a few years (or even just a few months!)...

Did anyone notice that these "roll-out" dates do not include the new "touch" system? If you want that, you'll have to wait even longer. And those that get the "new" system will feel like theirs is already "dated" when the touch component comes out...

Bottom line? Buy the car when your ready to buy the car, enjoy the car as it is, these small techno-details do not matter to the overall ownership experience...

It's the same thing with anything technology wise. Computers, cell phones, TVs, train sets, music players... It's not just BMW. It's everywhere. Win some, lose some. But somewhere along the way, you gotta play.

Wassup everyone..Not new to this website but just made an account.. I work for a bmw dealership not too far from headquarters so i will be posting up pics pretty soon . But i just had to say.. why is bmw coming up with this technology now ? Audi had these features for almost 2 years now. Common bmw i need more stuff to back me up when i get into arguments with some audi fans at my job..

Seriously Audi had many of these features long ago. Plus this is going to be expensive with lots of subscriptions. Furthermore whats with the shoe sized modem..? In addition the navigation is old school cartoon drawings no real pictures from Google or Apple. A gasp cheap pandora knock off that will require a subscription wowsers what will they think of next???

Fords have more technology than is being shown here
