VIR sep 8-9

Seriously, just missed one I was at this monday at Autobahn with LAPS. I'm not going but there is a Team Stradale "spontaneous" track day (as they call it) this Monday also at ACC and believe HOD is up at gingerman this weekend. I'm taking Sep off (in the midwest

) but Oct. 1 there's a HOD at ACC, oct. 8 Laps at ACC, and Oct. 13-14 will be up at Road America with MVP. That's my remaining schedule, am sure there's a few others out there as well. Hope to see you out there

PS I also just live northwest of downtown, grand & ogden area if you're in the neighborhood

Thanks for the reimbursement for the hammer! You didn't have to do that! It worked out because I got off my arse, went out and bought a real BFH so now I can really break...I meant...fix things.

For those who have been to Road America... is it a track that's hard on tires? I will be there for 2 days. Trying to decide whether I should order a second set of slicks.

I've never run slicks so can't be totally sure, but its really a fast track and the drivers side front can take a beating in the carousel. I find it harder on brakes than tires, but maybe someone with more experience with slicks could chime in, but would rather have 2 sets and not need it then 1 and need it. Am sure it will be used sooner or later
