Yea idk about NYC, but im sure if you dont beat on it in all the wrong places i bet you dont get bothered. The only way i think they will say something is if you get pulled over for something else and the cop just feels like adding insult to injury ha.

+1 - I've had it for 5 months now and it sounds better and better. Makes no sense since it's just a straight piping, but for me it does get better and better
