OP, kudos to you for coming over here and putting up this 'challenge'. Obviously Drew has no problems with it and neither should anyone else considering they're not taking part. Maybe it is the personality that comes with owning a Benz, my dad has been buying a new E-class every 2 years since I was knee high and it might not be a black series (always AMG nonetheless) but I get where this upfront no nonsense persona comes from and it isn't a bad thing at all maybe just read wrong sometimes especially by the bimmer folk cos you already know we have no friends. Good luck to you guys and I hope to see videos on videos of this.

I'll be at the Airstrip Event both days. Thank goodness as I've been getting call outs as well and don't want to do anything illegal on the streets. Many thanks to the guys at Shift-S3ctor for making these happen!

Hey Drew. Yeah the M3 is here. I have a lot to do to get everything installed and tested before the event. Goal is 600 wheel minimum...and with an otherwise stock M3 + VT2 600 dyno'ing around only 500, I have a lot to do to make up the difference. Can't wait to see you guys there

Have you been to the Airstrip yet? Ryan gave me the low down and said it was amazing.

Cool as I think we are all on the same page here. I do not and will not street race so this is about having fun.

I will speak to the weistec guys as this event will be a blast. I broke my ankle and could not attend the event in Feb..or when it was (blame my wife for teaching me to play tennis) but will keep healthy for this event.

For the people watching, hopefully you see i wasn't try to cause problems, sometimes I just act a bit too direct. PM'ing Drew would have been the proper way but we are were we are and you can't take things back.

All the fanboys at mbworld had their AMG panties in a twist when someone posted footage of a Weistec C63 getting wiped by Drew's VT3.

Mr. Campbell then started a thread showing off his monster CLK BS, and subsequently was told by many that he should challenge Drew, presumably to restore balance to the universe cause no M3 shall be allowed to beat a mighty 6.2l AMG in a straight line! How this race would change the rape of the first race is beyond me lol...

Agreed that it would be a waste of time.

Also agreed that the BS is mental!

Edit: Also think the OP is cool. Go read some of his comments/threads on mbworld, no arrogance. He's way more mature than most of the fanboys over there, that's for sure!

At Pomona I entered in the true street division. We had a 30 mile cruise followed by three hot laps. Finished 4th with a full road race set up. Only scratched the surface to what the car can do.

When comparing similar type cars, its hard to make up for the huge displacement advantage the FI AMGs have. When you are making over 150HP/Liter...an extra couple of liters is huge.
