Any problem with off-brand ebay wheels?

I want to get a second set of wheels, 18's probably, that I can use for autocross and maybe even as a winter set.

Here are some I found on ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/18-M3-ZCP-Wh...c59c43&vxp=mtr

I am looking for this style but the real deal (19s) are more like 2,000 bucks. 500 sounds much better for what is essentially a beater set. But are these going to be high enough quality? Or might I have problems?

Do youself a favor and stay away from ebay wheels especially for track use..Have you looked at APEX wheels..similar style to ZCP and light weight, very good for track use..and it wont kill your wallet

Wheels are a huge safety concern. Stick with wheels that are proven to hold up. You dont want to get a bad set that bends, breaks, crumples, etc under heavy load or speed. You might not walk away from that..

Totally agree. You can never go wrong with OEM 18". That's what I'm looking to get instead of inexpensive aftermarkets. If you go aftermarket, buy HRE, Volk, BBS, Morr. They seem to have the best reps for aftermarket wheels.

I don't get M3 owners who want to cheap out on wheels??? Even if you're the second owner, it's still not a cheap car.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

third and fourth owner will throw them into the realm of "wow i bought a v8 sports car with all the new tech goodies for low 30's!" if you can't trust adv.1 with their rims then why would you even ask if ebay rims are ok
