Deffenitly interested. but it says you must have a competition license for open track. How do I get one of these?

You have to go to an accredited race driving school. It isn't going to be that cheap to get licensed but you will surely become a better driver by doing so.

I see englishtown has the driving shcool for $225 a session. Anybody know what other tracks offer certification classes?

You do not need a license to come to open track. This is how it works:

If you do not have a license or this is your first time at this event you must arrive in the morning to take the prep class etc.. from 8am-10 or something. After taking the class in the morning, you will run in the open track for the rest of the day.

If you have already been to this even or have a license then you just show up at 11am for the open track.

I registered for the track prep course - maybe I'll see you there.
