haha Thanks! I used to have an Evo and used Evolved alot...figured why not bring part of it over to the M side.

Funny soon it really will be an "evolved m3" as im pretty sure im gonna join in on this group buy.

This was more of what I was asking on my original query - your response above reads that we (those not on 231E) would receive 2 files that we could load, 1 - Stock (untuned) 231E file and 2 - Tuned 231E file.

Can you confirm or clarify further?

Thanks Imran. On the current stock tune, there is a good amount of difference in power and smoothness when the car is running with 95 octane+ vs the 91. I was just wondering if there will be any benefit/advantage/extra power for filling up with 100 octane after the tune like the current behavior. Can you clarify further? Thanks.

Yes with the tune for 91 oct there will still be some benefit as the car will hit its maximum ignition targets all the time with 100 oct.

Last time we did that we took on more than we could handle effectively so we'll stick to 15% for now.

Either way its a good price for a tried and tested tune.

Awesome, that is what I did not want to get into, having to change the x-pipe to put the cats back in and loading stock software every year because of our stupid obd inspections here in NC.

hey i have a question and its probably answered on the website. If running without cats will the CEL delete option on this tune keep CEL off or do i have to reflash the system periodically?

Any supercharger you go for will come with a tune developed for that particular hardware and you should use that.
