Thanks for the feedback! Best I stick to a Challenge diffuser....if I can ever find a CF one. Thought I found one this morning, but it was for an E90

no problem. but i must say the DD diffusor looks really good....

funny thing what DD wrote on her blog about the diffusor:

"The M3 diffuser has two fins that extend from the rear bumper to smooth and channel airflow from under the car into the low pressure area behind your vehicle as it moves at higher speeds. In concert with our aerodynamic components, our diffuser results in more stability and higher speeds and cooling effect to the rear differential."

this diffusor is for nothing, just for look.

I think most people know that most diffusers on the market are purely cosmetic. Who are they trying to fool?

Got these from member Fruitcake today. Front 380's drilled in red, but I will be repainting. I have 380 rears on order.

And because I know a few of you guys are gonna ask, the wheels haven't been rebuilt yet. Still waiting to get the sample wheel back to see how the brush comes out before touching my set. I guess since we're not paying to have the sample wheel done, it's not quite high priority for them

Wow, your build (pre-build) is amazing. I'm just getting caught up with it today for the first time. I also had a challenge diffuser on order for a long time before giving up completely and eventually found a used one. They have been back ordered since as long as I can remember while they are "in search of a new supplier". Hope yours eventually comes through.

The latest on the diffuser is that Challenge is supposed to have a prototype from their new supplier after the holiday, and it it looks good, production is a go. But I'm taking that with a grain of salt because when I placed the initial order, I was told that they had found a new supplier and would start filling backorders/new orders in July. Well, we're in Sept now, so good thing I found myself a used one.

Just in. Just needs paint. Going to re-expose the CF lip and going with a shaved trunk lid. It's a very simple, yet very sexy lid. The lines on it are awesome.
