i have a little POS red dot on my short barrel colt but am looking to upgrade it to something more robust and dependable. Do you have any more detailed pics of it?

Its addicting man. I am still buying goodies for my current AR. The handgun thread has me saving money for a 1911. Its tough especially when I need to save for ammo to lol

Samson free float
Magpul: trigger gaurd, stock, fore grip, pistol grip

I just purchased the Addax bulldog compensator which aren't in the photos.

Looking to get a laser and light combo but can't seem to find a nice one thats pocket friendly that has a green laser.

Sure do. It was worth every penny.

Don't let the slot on dot brightness adjustment knob fool you. You adjust the brightness of the dot by simply turning the knob with your hand.

It has 4 NVD-compatible brightness settings and 8 daylight settings including one extra-bright setting

Aimpoint Micro for the win, is that the H1 or T1?

When I choose close range <300ft its usually EoTech, Trijicon, or AimPoint. All because of durability and peace of mind. I must admit, I do cheap out at certain points when It comes to taking care of my car but there is no excuse for the black rifle.

Actually fiddled around with a few brands including Vortex, I feel they make much better scopes than close-quarter applications.

Vortex on my Upper a while back.

Incomplete "DMR" project

Finished product

Its by TAG, basically a quality rip-off of Eagle Industry's RRSV. I relocate the pouches around quite often so the pics might look confusing.

T1. Only with the T1 do you get the hard-anodized, non-reflective finish.

Colt LE6920. Keeping this one simple. Going to replace the detachable carry handle with Magpul Gen 2 BUS and add an Aimpoint Micro T-1. Also going to add a Surefire X300 which will be mounted at 12 o'clock via a Mossie Tactics MT2400FSB (see second picture).

Thanks NYC! I really did like the look of the Colt with just the standard M4 stock AND the carry handle. I do prefer the cheek weld on the SOPMOD though.

I have been shooting with just the irons for a while with the Colt. They were damn near on the mark right out of the box. My DD required some adjustment.

If you are considering a new Colt, I would be remiss not to show you this new offering by Colt. If you are a fan of FDE, this is hard to beat:

No problem NYC.

Here's a pretty good review of it:

So, i just picked up an Aimpoint Micro T-1 (2MOA) with a LaRue quick release mount. I believe it's the same mount as yours, height anyway.

On another note, i just had my first dealings with an internet company called Lanbo's Armory out of Montgomery, TX. I ordered 7 different items at 7:25pm on Friday 8-3-12. I paid $11 shipping and my order arrived complete today in the US Mail.

Will be dealing with again, for sure.

Excellent choice! I have the 4 MOA. The 2 MOA was not in existence when I purchased my T-1.

I think the tall mount (LT660) is definitely the way to go.

It's a nice piece of hardware, isn't it?

And regarding your dealings with Lanbo's, that's pretty damn impressive! I have found that generally, customer service in the firearms/firearms gear industry is top-notch.

I hope it is. None of my LGS has it in stock so i ordered it from LaRue. It's already shipped so i expect it to be here tomorrow or thursday.

Yeah, they were super fast. I just upgraded all my mags to Magpuls and a Magpul collapsable stock. The Magpul stock is awesome. No wiggle in it at all. I really like the mags too. So much more quieter than the old steal mags and they have a nice feel to them when handling them.

I'll post up some pics once i get the APM.
