I was considering moving Solvang to Sept 29th and replacing the Sept 15 date with a different fun morning/lunch cruise. How does that sound?
Yes let's do that. Meet up in West LA and cruise down Malibu or something for lunch.

That sounds good, how about a SHORT cruise to either Malibu or Ojai for lunch.

There is a really good GREEK restrauant (Supercar Ace knows about it) in Malibu.
That Greek restaurant is so good.

The date is officially changed to September 29th. We will follow up next week with the potential overnight accommodations.

I did a drive with Audi Quattro Club back when I had my E36 M3.
We met at a Ralph Shopping Center in Santa Monica. Drove up on PCH. We took a tight cyn road through the mountains of Malibu, to HWY 101. Took an exit that led to Ojai. We drove through Ojai, more cyn roads, all the way to Santa Maria. Then drove down to Santa Ynez Valley where we had a picnic at Fess Parker winery.

It was a great long drive.

Darn! Missed the last event to Phil's BBQ because I was on vacation with the family in Monterey.

Will miss this one as well, also will be in Monterey (Laguna Seca) for the 3 day track event with PCA/Coastal Driving School. I will make it to one of these eventually.

I've updated Page 1 regarding the hotels. Please let me know ASAP which place you would like to stay at so I can get them booked at the lower rate!!!

OVERNIGHT ACCOMODATIONS:

Jimmy has hooked us up with a group rate for a couple of their hotels. Both are really nice! Please PM if you would like to book a room at either hotel (Option 1 or 2 below) for 1 night on Sat. Sept 29th. I need 8 occupants in each hotel and need to know ASAP so we get the better rate:

Option 1 - Hotel Corque - $250/night. This hotel is the closest one to downtown. We need to book 8 people for this one fast because it sells out! It may seem like a lot however these are not Holiday Inns, these are prime hotels with brand new upgrades and awesome amenities!

Option 2 - Hadsten House - $229/night. This hotel has similar amenities to Option 1 however it is a little further outside of downtown; a few minutes walk.

Option 3 - Other Local Hotels - if you would rather stay at the Holiday Inn or other hotels in the area this is on your own. We only got group rates for the high end ones. It would be a good idea to book soon as Solvang is a popular place!

The hotel Corque is a "LOT" nicer then hadsten house. We recently just purchased the hadsten house so we have yet to do anything to it. The corque is located right downtown, we have 24hour shuttles that take you to and from the casino. Also at the corque we have the amazing roote 246 restaurant which is insane good and has a really cool bar/lounge that is a skip from the hotel. (its all attached)

250$ may seem like a lot but this is the nicest hotel in solvang by far and is really nice trust me.

no problem guys! I wish I could get it cheaper but thats all they can do during that time of the year.

The casino hotel is closed starting sept first for a full remodel so you can imagine both of the other hotels will fill up quick!
