AE Performance Section 3 exhaust

So I did a thread search and found some early info in this mainly back in 2010, but not much recently. How many have this exhaust - any long term impressions (drone issues?). AE Performance said that they were going to do an X pipe, but it never happened. What X pipes are people running with this exhaust? Any verification of claimed performance gains?

I am running the AE rear section. Love the sound, very little drone, pretty much only notice it when I'm too lazy to downshift going up a hill at low rpms. Mated it to Fabspeeds Xpipe with resonators. I'm usually told that I was heard a block or two away, but inside the car it's not loud at all with windows down. Actually could stand it to be a touch louder.

Did the xpipe before the rear section, and to be honest I believe I had more gains from just doing the xpipe vs the rear section. Didn't notice much more power when the exhaust went on, but it sure sounded a lot better.

This is true for any exhaust for this car.

A buddy of mine has the AE exhaust with a catless RPI midpipe and its by far the loudest exhaust Ive heard to date. Its UNGODLY loud. My car droned just rolling next to him. Im not sure about just the muffler alone, but with a catless x pipe, that thing is super super loud.

That said, it DID sound very nice though!
