M3 Winter Rims - Cool Options?
Hey, am trying to find some cool winter rims ('08 M3 Sedan) and came across these (NKB Elite?) and have really been struggling to find (a) a dealer in Canada or US who will ship to Canada and (b) style code for these. Would love it if someone could help, or if have cool pics of other options? Am bias towards a matte black rim for winter.
Cheers, |

you can order wheels that are 18 inch just like mine (they are BMW replica style 220M) for around $1000- for the set and Michelin winter ICE snow tires from Tire Rack.
I found my rims last year in Toronto some fellow ordered 2 sets and ended up only needing one set (guess his girlfriend left him). I was lucky I found the rims and picked them up. All in all with the tires I think I spend $2,400- not bad when you compare the OEM cost around $3,400- to $3,999- plus tax. Check around also Google for wheels you might find some near you ... Good Luck

Keeps the car looking OEM. Good option!-- that's what I have done as well. I just put snows on the OEM 18s.

Here's my winter setup: 255/40/18 Dunlop Wintersport 3D on 18x9.5 D-Force. The rims used to be my track rims. I have Apex ARC-8 on order for next track season.

Looks like you might like something like my setup, but in black.
Alufelgen CS7 19" wheels, Dunlop SP Wintersport 3D 235/35 and 255/55 Full set brand new, shipped for <$2400. Check the vendor classifieds... there are a few vendors that carry these. Similar in price and look to VMR 710s.

The VMR710s are a good inexpensive option. They are heavier than the Apex ARC8, but cheaper. They are also available in 19 should you desire 19s for snow for reason obviously unrelated to snow performance.

I like this option. I ran snows on my OEM 18's - staggered in OEM sizes. If / when I need snows again I will likely try to find a square 18 x 9.5 set of OEM 18's or Apex wheels. I like the 255/40/18 square tire size too.

You can always buy 2 sets of 2 front wheels. That was recommended to me by a service advisor. And I did that for my 335i. (But I went back to staggered for my (incoming) M3. No other reason than I prefer the look.)

I run VMRs for winters, but if I had 18" stockers I would run them. 19s are winters suck.
