Updated. Added some OTDs for TWS and a PDS date. I think the Nov 2 day PDS will have the TXROC (ROC = race of champions).

Also, there's a BMWCCA HPDE at MSR Cresson. That should be wild running 1.7 CW one day and then CCW the other day. That track is so very different going the other way. Not sure if they have a race...there usually is.

HHR smoothed some bumps out supposedly. I think HHR is staring up their own DE. If you want to get on, I think you have to hunt down a member and pay $250 for the day.

FYI, all of the Driver's Edge events are full except for Dec in MSR Cresson. The 2011 event was 37 degrees and wet...imagine how that went.

BREAKING NEWS! There's a Dec HPDE on the new F1 track in Austin. No there's not...I'm kidding. Seriously, I think people have driven on it already...or so someone claims.

Lastly, there is supposed to be a street auto-x thingie in Florence, TX (between Austin and Killeen on TX195) sometime in November. I've heard its pretty cool. Basically there's 2 large parking lots. The way its been explained to me is you start in one lot, dodge some cones, drive down a street, dodge some hay bales into the other parking lot, mash the gas and twist the wheel and then go back to hay bale dodging and finish. The course is supposed to be about a mile. No work duties so you just drive.

There is no race at the BMW DE in October at Cresson.

The event at COTA in December is a Cadillac corporate event from the stuff I have heard. There has been NO DE announcements yet, but I am sure there are lots of groups trying to get a slot. I have heard they are not talking events til after F1 is done.

I've taken a (slow) lap at CoTA...anyone claiming a hot lap is BSing. They just finished laying the asphalt, construction is still ongoing. Trucks, cranes, etc. everywhere.

Can't wait to get the M around it, though. Next year some time, I guess.

Dang, that stinks. I enjoy those since you get to see some cool race cars.

I was just stoking excitement about COTA. I'm guessing DE's aren't their main concern at this point. I just drove by it...still looks more like a construction site.
