iPhone blutooth won't connect
My old phone (iPhone 4) connected and worked fine for phone calls. I broke that phone and got a new 4S and now it won't connect. iOS 5.1.1 is up to date on the phone. What the hell?

No upgrades because you don't have advanced bluetooth or the smartphone integration. That being said basic bluethooth should still work. Check your bt settings on both the phone and the car. Delete and re-pair if necessary as well.

I tried deleting the phone off the car's system and reconnecting. No such luck. I gotta figure something out because as much as I hate chit chatting on the phone while driving, it is a necessity at times and in a 6MT there's just no getting around bluetooth.

Gotta be something simple. If I had the fiber optic cable, we could update with Autologic. We can always set up an appointment to have us do it with the ICOM. Only other option would be the dealer for the update.

Is your Iphone jailbroken? Do other iPhones connect to your system without any issue?

My phone is not jailbroken and I haven't tried any other phones except my old 3GS which seemed to work just fine.

If you don't have family plans, come out to the meet tonight and I would be more than happy to check it out.

1. Tap Settings 2. Tap General 3. Tap Reset 4. Tap Reset Network Settings You will need to enter in your WiFi passwords afterwards (have them handy), sometimes this will fix Bluetooth issues as well.
