I enjoy shows auctions ect.... But Barrett Jackson at OC fairgrounds and Concourse De Elegance on the same weekend???? Poor planning...

Dont they usually hold Concurs events at the same time as big auctions..(R&M, Gooding & Co..etc)..at least thats what I see when watching Chasing Classic Cars..

One is an auction while the other is a car show. I can agree though that to have the most amount of attendees, that it would be better to have them on different weekends.

True! But no-reserve is market driven, Carini doesn't control that. Its ultimately the sellers decision to sell. No-reserve, in theory, should get you more exposure and hopefully more money. Barrett is a good example, their car prices are way inflated!!! Besides, it makes for good TV for "CCC"

I like when that show unveils cars that have been sitting in storage for 20-30 years! And when the old man in the garage sprays a little "gum-out" in the carburetor and she fires right up! A testament to European automotive engineering on some episodes.
