What's not normal is the amount of dust build up in the bottom right of the picture!

Under normal driving, my needle is pegged slightly below the 210 mark. When I push it on the track it creeps to 255 (dot between 210 and 300) and stays there. So, IMO, yours is within oprating range and perfectly normal .

100% normal.

Especially in 35C weather.

I've had mine quite a bit further than that on the track.

The car will start limiting the redline if the oil temps become too hot.

See the picture below - basically above 80C coolant temp and under 145C oil temp, the car will have 8,300 RPM redline (as long as coolant temp, and gear oil temp are also between limits). At 146C, the redline is reduced by 500 rpm, and for every C it gets hotter, the redline is reduced further. Doubtful that anyone would see those temps without extreme conditions.

Ha! That's cool that they built that protection in for high temp conditions as well. Thanks for the info!

So thats around 120C for our friends here. Anyone actually log anything out on the track on HOT days? 77f is not hot....

What program was that? I assume it was some type of CAN bus logger to pick up that info?

Yep, it's an AIM Solo DL (through CAN bus) with overlay by RaceRender 2.

77 is about as hot as it gets around Seattle

Oh, come on now, we do see 90's for a day or two

I've certainly been to Pacific Raceways on a 95F day! Once I think.

BTW - The gauge on the car seems to actually be quite accurate; so don't need to log anything, just ask around the forum to get a feel what people are seeing on the gauge. I'll be at Miller in a few weeks; last year it was 100F in July so I expect mid to upper 90's for sure.
