I got it done. The guys at Auto Couture Motoring had me in and out in about 30 mins. I made an appt for the mod and black heat paint on muffler. Cost was $499 including install and $125 for paint on muffler. All major work was done on swap before I even came in for install. They basically keep my old muffler for the modded one.

I am not posting vids because i dont see the sense. There are plenty of vids on this forum for this mod and I just dont think you get the same taste as in person. The modded exhaust sounds just a tad bit louder at idle with a warm engine, cold engine a different story. This exhaust comes alive with just a tap of the throttle, you will hear the difference, a bassy note heard with windows closed easily. Crusing speeds very similar to standard sound but tap on accelerator and you will smile. I did feel a slight change in power band even with " power" button engaged. Lower rpm under 3000 doesn't feel as torquie but that could be all mental because the exhaust is louder and my brain used to translate that as wide open throttle before mod was done.

Okay, now let me discuss cold starts. The car is now really loud when cold. The exhaust actually sounds like there is a leak in pipes, at least that what it reminds me of. I actually do not love it but i will live with it for about two minutes during every cold start.

So, in short, the ACM mod is well worth the money assuming you have a budget under a grand. The only after market exhaust i have seen in this price range is the Meagan slip on. If I had three grand to blow on exhaust then Id def spend it on a full aftermarket, otherwise, Do what I did, preferably at ACM. ; )

Shout out to Auto Couture Motoring in Jersey, well worth my 80 minute drive for this upgrade! Thanks!

In case what? When I get tired of this one I will buy full exhaust. I guess if I was trading in car or selling id just search for one on ebay or junkyard.

If you ever want a stock exhaust, I'm sure someone would be willing to trade their stock exhaust with you and pay for the install as well.

So no need to purchase a stock exhaust IMO.

Great mod!!! ACM exhaust mod sounds great! You should deff do the primary cat delete as well. You'll fall in love all over again

Does only having the ACM mod make any subsequent emissions/inspections a problem? Or rather, does the mod only change the acoustics or does it also alter the exhaust's function?

Just acoustics. Mufflers are for sound, cats are for emissions.
