Hey Keith, that thing is the most comfortable place in the world to lounge and empty your bank account. Won't feel a thing.

Thanks; and awesome - can't wait to see it! I'm loving the D btw - have over 6k miles on it already and two very long trips.

Ya the D is my dads truck and I love driving it. I took it on a couple long trips and the gas milage and the comfort is amazing. He had a 4.8 before this one but that was a different beast.

Love the office and especially the Nest. Do you have any complaints with this thermostat? I heard that if there is a software update then it has to relearn all of your settings. Do you feel your comfort levels and bills each month have reflected positively?

So far so good. Only time will tell on the bills, but the office is definitely at a more comfortable temperature.

After doing some research on the Nest, it seems that it does make it more comfortable, but it never received the Energy Star award. Seems to do the opposite. Of course you could turn off your a/c or heat when you are gone, but it turns on when you aren't home, and you have to manually over ride it.
Seems like you realllly have to tweak it. Also, I noticed the reviews on the Amazon and there are quite a few mixed reviews. TL;DR - I'll wait for cheaper pricing and more testing. |
