How to reset adaptations (Engine/DCT)?

Lately I've noticed DCT can be jerky driving or shifting at low speeds and isn't always smooth like when I first bought the car.

Does anyone know how to reset the adaptations (without using a tool or software)?

I found these instructions? Does anyone know if they work? Will they reset the DCT adaptations as well?

On my e46 m3 I would

Go over 40mph
release throttle
put in "N"
pull back on both paddles for 15 sec
put back in gear and drive as the system adapts

subscribed...I know there's a way to reset the SMG transmission, and of course standard auto transmision ("25 sec trick")

definitely wondering if there's a way to reset the M-DCT

I want to go but I can't make it that weekend. Maybe we can do it at a C&C.
