i have the 550i m package and though there are a ton of m badges everywhere, i really do like the look of it better. as far as the guys who badge their cars in crazy ways, there are people who think the big wheel and big spoler mods (etc) are poserish too.

just saying

When I had my E36 M3/4door I replaced the badge with a 328i. This dude with a coupe and fake M3 badge, was looking at my car, smirkinng with his friends pointing out differences, Funny thing is that my friend says, was we were both faking the funk. When he ask to elaborate, my buddy simply pointed out the difference in brakes, and how mine is bigger and stamped with //M, boy the parking lot sure got quiet.

Maybe i will replace my m3 badge with a 328 or better yet 330 lol.

Poor guy. Has a nice car but still he has a complex.

I take it as a compliment of sorts. As lame as it is.

The dude is driving a 335is. For the money he spent on that car he could've bought a nice used M3. Weird people, I tell you.

I think we should rebel and put 328i badges on our M3s, C300 badges on our C63s, and Carrera S badges on our 911 turbos. That'll show 'em.

Pretty sure I saw someone already do that to their M3 here somewhere... They put a 328i badge on it I think.

How many of these threads will be started until it's not funny anymore?

The guy has a 335is.. closest to a M3 (price wise) and makes a fool out of himself. Oh boy...

You guys are all wrong
He does have an M3
But he swapped out the front and rear fenders with ones from an is
Replaced the rear bumper with an is one
And installed a crappy HPFP
So it's an M3 in is clothing
