Hows my Rhyming?

PLEASE give me a yay or nay, Simple little rhyming poem I put together about war for school, let me know what you guys think..took me a while

Same Old War

Same old war
Shooting rebels in Iraq
Radio in the Air force for a full scale attack
Same old war
Heat seeking missiles flying every which way,
Sound of AK-47 fires on our boys every day,
will it ever go away?
But the American forces respond
With sniper rifle fire that
Pins their enemy down it seems at last
This war may be no more
Same old war
With a cease fire intact
The impact of a claymore mine counter attack
Left a crack in a soldiers heart that cannot
Be repaired no matter what he gives back
Same old war
Its unclear what to do
With KIA rising every day
Its become clear that its the same old war
Same old war
The politicians have their way but
The young men have a price to pay
Same old war
With defeat nowhere near
Car bombs blow up over here,
When a mothers fears turn into
Tears it will become clear that if we would
Have used our words instead of our guns
This same old war wouldnt have been dragged
on anymore.
