I really doubt the GT3 will be PDK ONLY. Up until recently, it wasn't even confirmed if PDK would be offered, let alone be the only transmission.

if you want a GTR, get it now. I Can see the price keep going higher....not lower.

I mean the 991 base is pushing 100k with a few options and 991 S is hitting 130k easily with some must have option. The GTR is still one hell of a bargain. The new 991 turbo is going to be 170k or more IMO.

you want a base 991 or GTR. no way in hell i pick the base 991 over the GTR for the same price.

The GT-R starts at $94-$96k which is already 991 territory.

True, but the GTR is fully loaded. You have to add 20k worth of stuff on the 991 to equal it.

But it's a Nissan, a well-performing one but.... It should be fully-loaded at that price.

Where are you headed and I hope you have the front end protected...

From what I've heard the GT-R is a great road trip car, stiff suspension and smooth highways. How many miles per tank do you typically get?

front end is clear bra'd so i should be all set.

driving from SC to Ohio for my bachelor party weekend. Should be a good time

honestly I have absolutely no idea what to expect for gas mileage this trip. Im on 1150cc injectors, dual fuel pumps and a fresh tune so I will probably get pretty shitty mileage.

The GTR is an awesome roadtrip car. Ive put 13k miles on mine in less than a year

Nissan dealership treat u like u buying a sentra
Nissan service department don't offer you free pastry/coffee
Nissan service advisor won't treat you like u drive a BMW.
Stock rotor and brake pad cost over 7grand to replace at dealership
20k miles service cost u arm and legs
GTR online community is small.

0-60 2.9sec, priceless
downpipe / midpipe / exhaust / Cobb = $5k = 560whp
if said person took the cost diff and had say HPF work it over, were would the M3 fall then?

Why not to have both? Buy a GTR when you can afford everything lated to this car.
Remember BMW is a BMW where Nissan could never reach.

The one reason I'd keep an M3 over a GTR is because of the people who drive them. My car is 8 years old, and still to this day - I get nods and peace signs from fellow M3 drivers, regardless of whether or not it's the same model or year. I get the feeling you're a bit of a loner in the GTR, and won't have that sense of comradery.

Another reason would be the constant negative attention you get. One day, you're gonna find yourself on the side of a road because a fart can equipped Honda Civic thought he could out-maneuver you, and instead he just smashes your front end.

I feel like if I told most people that I drove a GTR they would first say "what is that?" and then say "oh, grow up".
You do realize what most people think of BMW drivers, right?
