Pics of label removal
As promised:
Still faint outline, but far far better and in most light can't see at all.

Apply a little Goof-Off and scrub with a tooth brush using moderate pressure and that remaining glue will come off. I have attached photos showing my results

So I've come to the conclusion that Canadian M3s do not have stickers.. it's some print process.. Observe my DIY Fail.
Materials.. A close up of the actual label After 10 minutes of scrubbing It lives. I think I'll have to order Euros.

Do the euro or cloth ones slide?

My visors are the cloth type (headliner) and I used Goof-off. I had a bottle of it from back when I did this to my E46. I just did it and it took 5 minutes each and I didn't have to take them down at all. You will need to vacuum after because it does flake off and also I recommend doing it outside of the garage with all windows and sunroof open if you have one...Let's just say smelling goof-off for 10 minutes straight makes everything in the world OK!
Side note: What's the deal with different materials being used to make the sun visors? Should I be happy I have cloth ones? Did they change after a particular year?

Ha.. pretty close. Not sure what went wrong. They were working last night. They were imgur links.. so who knows.
Here's how they went. Posted a pic of the label which appears to be painted on. Then another pic with me killing it with goof off. Finally, a last photo, showing literally no results whatsoever.

I went the acetone route (vinyl visors).
I pulled my visors out though...just because the acetone has a pretty strong smell that I didn't want inside the car. I was amazed at how easily the labels came off. Was a piece of cake.

Was the mod I was the most nervous about doing...because I was afraid of ruining the visors...but wound up being the easiest.

Not quite, I was asking if the visor slides out, when its positioned parallel to the door. Some/most high end cars allow them to slide out on the arm to block the sun better.

Done.
At first I tried standard Fingernail Polish Remover with no luck. Then, went to Home Depot and got a can of Acetone. A small amount on a cotton ball was enough to do the job. Quote:

No, the M3 does not have the extending plastic panel that further blocks the sun. Only a sliding door for the mirror (ie. it is otherwise identical to the plastic visors, sans labels and made of headliner cloth).
