I think we're missing an option in the poll that should say, "I'm only voting for the body style I bought." I bet there wouldn't be any other votes...

So that said, I think a better more telling poll would be, 'Other than the body style you bought, what is the next best looking M3?' (Or course this wouldn't work since coupe sales outweigh sedan and vert combined so by default the coupe couldn't win.)

They have that option in the Poll, it's the "E90 Sedan" option.

Well the title is "Best Looking............." so no other factors to consider here. The E90 design is compromoised by the need to incorporate 4 doors. The sticky out bottom of the E93 is to accomodate a folding roof. The E92 suffered no such compromises in its design and so it turned out the prettiest by far. The other models are terrific also. They just aren't as pretty.

For obvious reasons, there is no question the performances of E90 and E92 are superior. But on looks alone, no M3 looks better than the E93 with top down. Plus, the performance isn't bad either.

I don't know...the e92 looks a bit too much live a prior generation Civic coupe in side profile from the B-pillar back. Something about the proportions is a bit off - it looks too long in side profile from the B-pillar back. A great performer otherwise but not a pretty to me.

The sedan with it too high, stubby, chopped off rear end accented with ugly economy family sedan taillights just does not do it for me. To me the rear end of the E60 M5 sedan was much more sexier then E90 M3. Even the F30 is better looking from the rear then the E90. They bungled the rear end design of E90 sedans across the board M version or not.

4 doors are most definitely sexier. The body lines of the four door are just better, the stance is better, the ass is better etc etc. I think the only reason there are more votes for the e92 is because there are more e92 owners on this board. e90 is more rare and just better

I wonder why there's more coupes even if the sedan is a more practical car!

For me, it depends on the color. Some coupes look great in certain colors and the sedan looks best in certain colors.

Funny how there are more E92 votes despite the car costing more brand-new and selling for more used than the E90.

All those benefits you mentioned and people are still willing to pay more for an "inferior" E92.

M3 owners must have lost their minds!

Coupe. Sedan roof line/profile make it look like nothing special. Guaranteed the sedan may be more practical but what's practical about a 400+ HP car that make less the 20MPG?
