No updates...just wondering whether the E46 belts would work for our cars. Are the interiors similar enough?

I have the ralleye 4 in my E90 but the tail strap could be a tad longer. They will work unless you are a midget.

What about the Quick Fit E46 belts? Do you think they would work? Are the mounting points similar?

Never mind, they won't work. Apparently, the seat belt clips are different sizes.

Its coming :)

I met with Joe Marco (HMS, Schroth sole distributor in the US) on Saturday at the Glen. Asked him about the status on the E9X quick fit. Apparently Schroth got acquired by Takata (Japan) who have been pushing them to launch these out. Should be out within the next 2 months for sure. There you have it!

I called Schroth again today and inquired. I really didn't get any new news but Matt just said it is getting close. I gave him my email address to be notified as soon as these are available.

Does anyone know of any reason these would have to be used with the stock seats? I am thinking about putting in a couple of fixed back racing seats.

I was wondering the same thing--then it's just a matter of coding to keep the front passenger airbag functional.

Don't forget Alaska King Crabbing. Those guys don't need no stinking harnesses.

I will solve this problem by duct taping my head to the head rest.

Here is a quick DIY for the procedure

I will start in my E46...which has quick fits. You need the quick fit pro models. The shoulder straps will slide off the HANS with the regular buckle models.

Instead of the duct tape, how about a cargo strap? Might make getting out a little easier.
