Limp mode need help!!

Is white back lighting stock on e92? My lci e90 has the redish color.

Happened to me also fuel pump issues and control unit issue. Fixed after two tries.

Standard non-m cars are orange color. M3 has the white backlight cluster.

Update:The problem came back again. Took it in, dealer replaced spark plug and ignition coil on cylinder No.2. Hopefully this will solved the misfire problems.

Yeah. Also, I saw two other m3s were in for the same exact problems. I asked my SA, he told me it is still really common on 2011 and 2012 models.

Could be. So far this is the only time I've had problems with this car, despite occasionally top off power steering fluid. Not sure why but the power steering fluid often spill out a little bit for some weird reason.

Mine croaked just after I changed the pads and headed out for two days of track driving Trip aborted...

BT Tool..best tool out there for BMWs..can read all engine and DSC fault codes, set CBS, register batteries, data log, send ECU commands and adapations..TPMS sensors..on and on..every BMW owner should have one of these.

Enthusiast is what i have..good for 3 VIN#..I bought mine used for $150 with 2 VIN#s left on e90post..
the professional just has unlimited VINs

For me..it paid for itself almost immediately..the 335 folks swear by this tool..due to the all the damn codes and engine issues..

I had the same failure just 2 weeks ago. Brought it back to the dealer for check up and found a throttle actuator failure. Dealer replaced it under warranty and it ran smooth again. Hope that helps.

Right..it codes as well..

I think you can code with the enthusiast same as professional..the only difference is the VIN# limitation not sure

EDIT: Just saw that only with professional kit you can code..
