Blacklines question

Ok...sorry if asked before and also sorry if I don't make sense here, but I am wondering:

Has anyone paired the stock inside e90 tail lens with the blacklines outer lenses? Why would one do this?

Well, the blacklines only have "black lines" around the clear part of the inner housing. So, if you paired the stock inside with the blacklines outside I think it would look more uniform.

Make sense? Ever seen it? I cannot find a good pic.

Only other way to be uniform is to get depo (too dark) or lci (too $$ for what you get).

Ideas?

Looks like crap. Now, having the blackline inners with the red outers looks tons better than the standard silver crap.

Nope - I bought black lines and have them installed now - looks great.
