Did the drive again this morning with DSC off. I know, I barely made it here by the skin of my teeth. Anyway, my issue seems directly related to the DSC since it was non-existent as far as I could tell while the DSC was off. Hopefully Mike will have some magic software to take care of this so I don't have to go to the dealer.

Hey buddy, I'm glad you made it out alive! You could have fallen off a bridge just like THAT!

I steered clear of all bridges and any turns more than 30 degrees.

Since it does it with the DSC on and not off it seems it would be unrelated to fuel. I am waiting on Evolve to send me an Akra Delete-R only tune to see if things change when it's on the stock tune in case they made a tune based on 93 or something since we only have 91 here.

Not to jack the post, but how were people able to drive vehicles in the 60's and 70's with bias ply tires, 400 hp and no DSC? Vehicles must trully have been death traps.

Do you have different tires at the front and back or non-recommended tire sizes by chance?
Not on a M3, but had similar situation with DSC where it felt as you described with the brakes grabbing. I relate it to having different tires in the front and back. |

After having this issue since the car was delivered, with the help of my good friend Mike Benvo, we finally figured out the issue. DSC was cutting in and out without warning or any lights on the dash due to the V2 steering wheel being installed incorrectly at the dealer. After determining that the steering wheel was showing an offset even when dead straight, I decided to remove the entire wheel and start checking things out. It appears that when the dealer installed the wheel when I bought the car, they didn't put the SZL back in correctly which was causing the DSC to intermittently come on and off because it was thinking that the wheels were pointed in a different direction than they really were. Once I installed the SZL and the wheel correctly and had the car recalibrated, the problem was finally gone. I am one happy camper now!

Guess you didn't read my solution one post above. Definitely not normal, at least in my situation.

Just saw it ... It's funny you mentioned that because last week I had the steering angle sensor warning come on for about ten minutes then go off and stay off... Perhaps it's on its way out?
