In the white pictures, it looks like they either photoshoped the side lines to make it straight instead of hideously curved or bmw fixed the lining.

If 135i will be cheaper than 335i by 8-10k, I see no reason of spending an addtional $$$ for the 335i, except the "status" thing. If you want room, get a 5-series.
Wow, your ready to dismiss a whole group as shallow in one swift stroke. Personally, I think the 1 series is the "Sportster" of BMW's.

Since some of you wanted to see pictures of the front, here they are. The interior really would look pretty good with that dash strip being walnut, piano black, or stainless. The strip is pretty wide in the E90, so the smaller strip is fine in the 135i, you just have to imagine it being in your favorite trim selection. The headlights are more upright, kind of like the E46 M3. Just imagine it with some really nice wheels also.

It is 1" taller than the e92, about 9" shorter, about 1" less wide.

It's not a car show. It's a BMW employee only meeting that is being conducted throughout the country.

Size and weight are two completely different measurements.

And that weight is the European weight of the vehicle that includes driver weight, a 90% tank of fuel, and luggage.

Anyway, 'tiny' is a relative term. Compared to a 5-series, yes, you could say the 1-series is 'tiny'. However, compared to a MINI the 1-series certainly wouldn't qualify as 'tiny' since it's much larger. And it is significantly smaller than the current generation 3-series, too.
