I had that happen first time, I thought the pads were grouped as sets, not as type/shape! Freaked me out!

I'm like...ok now this why they were so cheap....I got all outer pads. I'm used to Hawks and they pair up by caliper, not by style.

But did you have a file and a hammer in your hand before you realized your mistake? I did. That was my closest bid for a Darwin award in 2010!

Have you got used to the clunking/rattling at low speed yet? That is normal too. Especially after a session and the calipers are hot. It is due to the lack of caliper clips. You need to know this before you get accused of having damaged wheel bearings in the pits!

I took it for a drive and heard rattling. I thought my brake pad sensor had worked out of my cable tie and was rubbing. I'm going to take it for a drive and drag the brake to make sure that it's for sure the pad.

My Hawk's would clank whenever I went from forward to reverse....that's with spring clips!

These pads do rattle. That's normal.

I didn't have any issues installing mine this weekend. Didn't have to grind anything perfect fit.

It took an embarrassing amount of time to realize that the reason the front caliper wouldn't line up was the difference in outer/inner pads, but once I did I had no issues. And the pads performed well at Barber this past weekend, so much better than stock. Running at least race pads is a must for these cars if you're fast at all.
