Matte doesn't wear off, you just want to use soap and water with no wax. The intent is to not create a shine, otherwise it is no longer matte. I know I am opening myself up to a bunch of wise cracks, but observe the no excessive rubbing rule!

I was able to buy one of the original anniversary edition frozen greys, and am at just over 1.5 years of ownership and it is all good and looks just as good as the day I picked it up.

My cousin wants to know if there's any special way you should dry it with. Like in case cotton towels are too abrasive or something

Use a leaf blower to dry it ( no touching= no micro-marring). Swissvax sells a opaque wax for matte cars. It is the best wax for matte cars and I think it is only $90.

Congrats to your cousin!

Speaking from experience get the SwissVax products, microfiber towels and a leaf blower.

Dont use a squeegee it will scratch to paint and then your are SOL.

Did you just watch the video in the Frozen Care featured article on bimmerpost today? No microfiber? Isn't microfiber like the softest thing? What about the leather shams or whatever that BMW sells?

Congrats welcome to the club! Yes you can wax it and use any microfiber towel. Buy the swissvax opaque line and chemical guys matte detail spray. Use Xpel Stealth if he plans on installing a PPF

Yup that's me! Lol it's Vegas plates FROZN. I'm in Cali right now and just picked up my car from Ranz. I had a custom one-off front bumper and side skirts made

Right on! No you don't sound like a stalker lol. It wasn't a real GTS but it was a '12 Individual Color Fire Orange E92 M3 ZCP w/ GTS goodies

That was only a small portion of our cars that were able to make it to FMY. Euro Squad will be rolling to Mfest with 30+ cars and at least 1/4 will have custom one-off work by Ranz Motorsports!

I look forward to meeting you nd your cousin at Mfest! When are you coming to Vegas?

were driving up with the caravan or whatever at like 4am. this is my first m fest so im not too sure what the deal is. im excitedddd to see all your guys cars though

Hey do you know the teenager with the R8? My cousin is friends with him and I guess he meets up with euro squad or something. I rode around in it in Newport last week. Sooo nice

Dont use microfiber cloth. Surprisingly, they say that is too abrasive. Use a shammee.
