I just reread the manual and it says:
Rapid downshifting: to accelerate rapidly, e.g.
when passing, you can skip several gears in
sequential mode. To do so, press the accelerator
past the resistance point and pull the left
shift paddle once or press the selector lever forward
once. This provides maximum acceleration.

Let me know if this is right:

So say i'm in 7th in Sequential mode:
- Floor accelerator completely and hold
- Pull left lever once
- Hang on to dear life

Yep,the big thing is too make sure that you open the throttle enough to engage the "kickdown" switch.

Yep.
1. Pedal past the resistance point - you'll feel the click.
2. Pull and HOLD the left (-) paddle until it downshifts (likely to 2nd or 3rd), depending on your speed.
It'll be above 5000rpm, so be ready to upshift with the right (+).

Just tried it again to be sure today - Steps 1 and 2 are interchangeable.
