At least you're straight up about it. No worries, you had plenty of company in the last election.

jokes aside, its not really news but we were looking at the numbers in i dont remember what class...marketing perhaps? anyhow if you look at the 2008 election numbers the minority vote was WAY higher this round (2008) of elections over and above what it should have been as a proportion of minority voters. Again, not surprising, but interesting nonetheless...

Dude, what is with you and the anti-gay comments? You've made a habit of bringing it up when it has nothing to do with the topic. And why would someone who supports gays be uneducated? I mean, we all know that democrats are better educated, so that's just partisan ignorance, but what's the rationale for the gay comment? Seems to me if any group is uneducated, its the anti-gay religious nuts.

Oh, and misspelling racist doesn't help your case.

While you use the term "red neck" pejoratively...many Americans embrace the term as solidarity against an abusive government...

It was not that long ago that the US government sent an air strike against striking union mine workers....

I'm not your research department, look it up yourself. The fact is that the higher one's education level, the more likely one is to vote democrat. If you don't want to believe me, then good for you, I don't care.

Good for them, but this has nothing to do with the topic. Mississippi is the least educated state, and it's heavily republican; as are all of the other low education states.

You do realize you're arguing in support of someone who declared that all those who support gay rights are uneducated. That's great company to put yourself into. Hitler had a similar opinion of Jews.

this is all true...so why do you weaken your argument and use a proudful term in a pejorative manner...I am just illustrating that the tone of your post actually undermines your intent...

BTW...I am not on anyone's side...(except my own)

For the record...I believe that gay marriage is a state issue...my marriage license was issued by my state...not the national government...I could see some states (Cali/MA/NY) completely allowing gay marriage...and others...OK, GA, SC prohibiting...that's the beauty of living in a republic...

Personally, I would support marriage, civil union or what ever you want to call it...what 2 individuals want to do with their money/personal life affects me exactly zero...

While we are at it...I would grant amnesty to all current illegal citizens/aliens....give then full citizenship...SSN and call it a day....anyone new...gets a work visa and a SSN...make fair tax paying citizens/residents of all

And...then decriminalize ALLLLLLLL drugs

Legalize prostitution....(why is sex legal to give away and illegal to sell?)
Legalize gambling....why should the government have a monopoly on gambling with their silly lotteries...

so please don't think I'm a republican....

I am a thinking person that does not align with party politics...only science and data...

These "intercity" Chicago Dems, do they commute between Chicago and somewhere else? Does that make them less educated perhaps? Or are you talking about inner-city Chicago Democrats?

There's nothing I'd like to do less than respond to your demand. I should also note that I haven't seen any counter-facts from your side, about anything really. You just sit back and chime-in whenever someone says something that sounds good to you; such as when some homophobe states that democrats are uneducated, which of course makes no logical sense, since both are found in the same demographic.

As I said, you believe what you want, I don't care.

Now I wouldn't mind being in a shower with a bunch of nude girls if it was the other way around.
So Im guessing that the gay men feel the same way?

Spiting hairs

I guess that's what one gets when one is an undereducated independent or fat fingers the keyboard.

I cannot stand it when people make "fact" claims and then fail to provide support, telling the other side to look it up. If I make a claim, I will most certainly provide something of value to substantiate the claim.

These graphs depict results obtained by Fried from the National Election Studies (NES) database:
