Oil cap leak

My 2011 just received the 1,200 service not too long ago (no leak prior to the service). Oil/dirt residue was discovered around the oil cap when I popped the hood to check my MS stage2 intake..what should I do? A new cap or should I clean the oil cap, then apply a thin a coat of oil to the gasket before tighten it, I read it helps with the oil leak.

^^ Just this. No need for a new cap. They are just crappy designs. Same thing happened to me when the VPC did my 1200 mile service.

Like they said, terribad design. Just tighten as much as you can and clean what you see.
