I had no idea that if you touch (not push) any of the programmable buttons, the button function displays on the LCD screen. Great for me as I'm always forgetting which button is programmed for what function.

Another forum member found out that if you hit the "power" button while in reverse, the M3 turns into a submarine.

This might be more appropriate for a "What my M3 cannot do."
And I've only tried this once, with no success: Is it true that the instrument lighting (speedometer, tachometer) can NOT be adjusted while the M3 is in motion? I was driving one night between Houston and Dallas, and reached the outskirts (aka The Middle of Nowhere) and wanted to dim the dash lights -- but I couldn't get the option to appear -- not until the next day when I was sitting in the garage. Or was I fumbling the BC selection?

Maybe. If I hold mine long enough it turns from a e90 into a e93. The only problem is, if I hold the button too long after that it turns into Optimus Prime.

So they applied the same logic to the windows that they did to the trunk. Hold the key fob button for 2 seconds to open it, hold for 2.25s to set off the alarm. Asanine.
