ess e flash tune questions

Hi everyone, just got the e flash kit from ess, have a few questions since i'm still a noob about ecu tune DIY like this. I know I need to send the factory ecu file to ess and wait for the reply. So does it mean i can still drive the car or i have to wait until i load the new software and then drive it? and if possible, can anyone provide the detailed process of doing this? Thanks!

Yes you can use your car as normal. E-flash just makes a copy of the original, it does not remove it. You can use your car as normal until you get your tuned file back

Thanks for the quick reply! That really helped. How long does it take to get the new file? and what should be included in my email?
