SOSI performance XPIPE install????

So I just installed a sosi x pipe and running rpi gt axle back...as you guys know the sosi deletes secondary cats and resonators..on the stock xpipe there's some cutting to do in order for sosi to be installed with stock cats...I am using stock clamps but mmy PROBLEM is thers a big exhaust leak wher they couple together and the stock clamps are too small and won't clamp even though ther tight all the way....so would you guys reccomend welding thos pipes together? Or using different clamps?

Check out the DIY installation guide done by Bill here:
http://billswebspace.com/SosiXPipe.htm

The Sosi X-Pipe *slips* onto the cut OEM exhaust (that's why one end of the Sosi X-Pipe is slightly flared). Once you slip it in all the way, the seal is tight and you shouldn't have any exhaust leaks. Then, attach the clamps to keep everything tight.

If you did everything correctly, you don't need bigger clamps. ;-)

Which clamps are you referring to? The factory clamps that are used to mate the mid-section and rear section do not have any welded parts.

Yes the factory clamps and yes they have welded on nuts so I overtightend the screw and broke the nut but anyway the clamps still won't close the sosi pipes onto the oem pipe...?????????

Nothing about the OEM clamps are welded. It is a clamp ring, 2 retaining nuts and a bolt.
