iND M-stitched OEM DCT shift boot and e-brake boot
Ultimate Pedals
Sonic MS | Verstraβe Aluminum Extended DCT Shifter Paddles

Many thanks to iND, Tischer, and Sonic MS for making these parts available.

That looks great!!

So now the waiting begins for sure. Out with the old, this low mileage (2003 w/37kmi) beast is getting picked up for transport tomorrow and is all lonely in the garage...knowing that it's outta here. Already starting to miss it.

The M3 arrives on Weds (hopefully) and already has a homelink mirror waiting, as well as the BMW OEM carbon fiber kit en route via snail mail. Tint guy is scheduled too! What is surprising is that I've never sat inside an e92M3, nor driven the DCT. However I know I'll like it so no worries there

Patience is not my strong suit...
Wow,

was your M5 gorgeous....

Congrats OP, I love spartan M3s...

After what seemed like an eternity, as well as a small dusting of snow which delayed the delivery of the car by a day, she's finally in her stable! Cleaned her up (at 9pm and 35deg F lol) and it's in pristine shape. I love love love it!

Already have painted reflectors from IND on the way, as well as the CF kit from Tischer, as well as the CF center console from IND.

I've even installed a homelink autodimming mirror so that I can get into the garage Whew, been a busy night!

I'll post better pics when I get the chance, but for now a crappy iPhone pic will have to suffice. LOVE the DCT by the way, no regrets at all.

Congrats! How does the mirror work? Your car didn't come with BT or assist, right? I've been wanting the same mirror myself, but wasn't sure it would work. Where did you end up getting it? Post pics when you get the interior parts!

Nice garage btw!

Correct, no BT nor assist, totally bare bones Lighter that way

I purchased the mirror off of a person in the classifieds (pm me if you want his name). Took me longer to put the plastic trim piece on than the entire replacement process Works flawlessly and now I don't have to carry around the embarrassing garage door star trek communicator

Thanks, that flooring is the Costco tiles and after 9yrs they have held up remarkably well.

Too bad the IND reflectors or IND center Carbon Fiber console wasn't here yet...but that'll just give me an excuse to take a few more pics.

Yep Costco! Some may not carry it in stock so you may have to hunt around. This was 9yrs ago that they were carrying it and you know how Costco works...try looking online on their website and look under garage - you may get lucky.

The M5 alas, it was time to go. I've had two e39's back to back (540 prior) so I was ready to get back into a coupe

That's awesome Mitch! The M Performance Carbon Fibre trim looks GREAT! Perfect complement to the sports-oriented, simple interior with the clean dash and the speed cloth seats. Thanks for the great pics!

Wow, CF center console install was a bit more than I anticipated. Since I do not have i-Drive, I have a little cubby instead. Removing that cubby required that I break the factory plastic weld all the way around the cubby, and then separate it from the center console itself. Not a big deal, but a bit of a pain.

Then the new CF piece shows up and it has a cubby surround installed in it. You guessed it, also plastic welded. At this point, I'm thinking I can remove this piece the same way I did the original, but if I mess up I'm sitting here with an expensive paperweight. Patiently, as the pictures show, I used an exacto knife to break the plastic welds, then applied gentle pressure to break the plastic tabs to remove the CF cubby surround. Alas, success and I was able to re-install my original cubby to the CF piece. This isn't for the faint of heart, but being careful pays off and I now have my interior CF complete Enjoy!
