Besides, the LCI for all E92s and E93s happened in MY11. Why would BMW do an off-cycle update on a low volume coupe and convertible-only M3 in its last model year?

Is it not similar to the E46 M3? All E46 M3's have the pre-LCI face...and the regular coupe/sedan got the new LCI face in 2002...

Why not increase the voltage using coding?

Some may frown upon this but it should give a brighter light.

Hello. I am new to this site and had a question. I have a 2011 M3 and I wanted to get Lux's H8 V3. I was wondering if I should get the 5000k or 6500k?

I'm personally waiting for EAS to ship out my AiB v4 kit. I hope they are bright enough... but to be honest, for me it is about getting rid of all yellow old-school bulbs and matching the HID 5000K or so stock look, I dont want the halos to look aftermarket.

Put in Lux V3 last night. My fiancee thinks everything I do with my car is a waste of money, but I showed her a side by side with the old one and she was like "Damn that looks good".

OSS is the best if you want the brightest, but I wanted to keep the stock look so I think that Lux or AiB is best. Cannot speak for the others.

I just installed my 5000K Lux V3 a few days ago and I love em! Bright but not overpowering, and pure white so it looks OEM like it belongs there, as opposed to other setups/colors that scream "AFTERMARKET."

There are pictures of both on this thread: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=604500. Pick the one you like.
