OEM M Performance Exhaust

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None
Item Interest
Not sure if anyone is interested, but BMW of Houston North has brand new OEM M Performance exhausts for $3,000 shipped. I purchased and installed one last week and they sound even better in person than they do on the videos. And the tips look great with the M logo

I'm not an employee of the dealership, just someone who appreciates a good deal and am passing it along. Here is a link to their eBay auction if interested:

The part number listed in the auction is for the E92/3. The E90 part number is 18-10-2-184-198. You can probably contact them and see if the have the sedan exhaust.

Very tempting. Although I'm sure they'd charge tax sending to Texas.

So just how hard would this be to install myself if I have a jack + stands (no lift)?

It's just heavy and awkward. You should be able to do with stands but you'll wanna get the back up nice and high.

I wouldn't hold my breath on it coming down that low.

Thanks. It literally bolts on with the removal of a few hangers, right? Someone should do a DIY

HAHA...yup. Just make sure you eat your Wheaties before you lift the muffler.

The guys are right, it was a DIY for me, blocked and on ramps. Needed a buddy and the promise of a case of beer to drop the stock muffler and mount the M Performance muffler. Other than those two times when you need the extra muscle, it's an easy DIY - - fits like a glove using all existing hangers.

I think that for $2500 that would be a GO for most people.....but its just really expensive, but for a chosen few.

I have it on my new 2012 e92 M3 ZCP Frozen Silver and it is as good as it gets for a performance exhaust. The sounds is just right...I researched every possible exhaust in the market and this was the best fit for the e92 M3 for all the right reasons = oem and perfect balance sound, no drone.

I previously owned an e60 M5 with SS race-performance exhaust with X-pipe, and the M Performance exhaust is AS addictive as that one....and believe me it does not get much better than the S85 V10 engine sound!!!

Is it worth 3K? Yes...

It's not available anymore. Do you know if this was a one time special or if they will in fact run it again?
