I couldnt let that deal slip

I will make the switch to the 3 only if/when adobe makes something half decent for the iOS. Until then i'm good with the 2.

argh... I spent half a day today fixing my website and blog because I noticed that it got hacked and all my php files had some code injected into them.

Anywho, I think I'm back to normal, but damn... what a waste of time.

oh yeah, and I forgot to mention I installed LR4, but I haven't ran it yet. I'm waiting to finish backing up my entire library before I run it, incase it "updates" the library catalog and f's something up. Should be done in 2 hours, so I guess I'll just play with LR4 tomorrow (if I find some free time).

question for those who buy refurbish lens/camera, does the box it came with say refurbish or is it identical to a brand new lens/camera box?

My D5000 was bought refurb from Cameta Camera and it came in a generic cardboard box without warranty registration papers or instructions. But it had stickers on the box stating that it was factory refurb.

It came with all the goodies tho.

Canon ships theirs in a white box. But, it comes with everything (e.g., warranty card, hood).

thanks guys, i'm debating if i should get a used/refurbish lens or new lens. i've been checking my local CL and wanted to make sure when I go test the lens out they're not lying about it being refurbish lens trying to sell it as new lens
