I would have to agree with sparkyg on this one. The big reason on getting the M3 was a NA V8 engine being stuffed into a 3 series...of course MB and Audi have their respective versions too, but M3 with a NA V8...

I have a civic Si - DD, Vtec isnt the same after driving the M, so everytime I take the M3 out...music to my ears, plus that V8 puts enough power that anything more would get me into trouble!

Kudos to the guys and gals who s/c or have a stoker kit, my personal preference is keeping engine stock, and minor performance upgrades as sparkyg as mentioned...most of all enjoy the car!

There is one Dinan stroker car that I know about and there was an RD sport stroker but I believe that car was sold out of province.

I guess when the Dinan stroker gets traded in to Calgary BMW you can sample it but from read the strokers kind of underwhelm, if you going to spend the money I would SC.

One of the sales reps said that M5 was not a production model and might not even be drivable. The production M5 will probably look like the one at the car show though.

The car is pre-production so it does not have the required certification to be driven on the roads anywhere.

No VIN and all the other QA required to be road certified.

They'll just tour it around and flog it on the track and then prob crush it.

Seems brutal but pre-production is basically just a write off car. Cost of doing business.

I will be in town for most of the day...... I am getting the out of province inspection done on the car. After the OOP inspection is done, I am taking the car to Calgary to have clear bra installed by Thompson Graphics. My appointment for the clear bra is on the 12th in the AM so I can stay in Edmonton till evening if you want to meet up!

Does the ultra 94 contain ethanol like the husky fuel?

Also, what's the premium over regular? IIRC, husky is around $0.17.

All Petro Canada gasoline contains ethanol now....... The super clean 91 used to be ethanol free but since April 2011 even it contains ethanol in Alberta.

IMO if you are going to get 91 with ethanol, you are just as well to get the 94 with ethanol.
