Hey Brian,

was a great experience helping you on your "baby"! One million questions on the way, right Enjoy the car every mile you go and don't forget to slow down for the first 1200 miles. Let me know if you need anything.

Cheers,

Matt

Many thanks to the community for the congrats!

Thanks everyone for the congrats and the warm welcome.

It's great to be amongst fellow petrol-heads that understand the simple pleasure of driving, especially this magnificent //Machine

Well, I'm two and a half days into ownership, with 500 km on the odometer. Took her out today for around four hours just to admire and drive her across some great Europe B-Roads. Frankly, I didn't want to stop driving

Fiddled with the iDrive a bit...and noticed my first rock chip right on the a-pillar

ok gents, I'm heading back out to drive

I've added another pic from the side which shows the winter wheels better (breytons). They look great against the space grey.

Congratulations! I've had my Space Gray E90 for about 4 weeks now, and could not be happier! Agreed on the number of fuel stops you'll make - the 4.0 litre V8 really sucks down the gas! I averaged 26 MPG on my 2005 E46 M3, but have not done better than 17.5 MPG on the new one. Is it worth it? You bet! :-)

It's so cool to be driving the car in Europe, where it was made to be driven.

Are you with the Air Force? What do you do out there?
Any joint billets you recommend?
