Really.

I personally haven't driven one but I love the way it looks. Makes even a M3 look "plain."

^It was aggressive enough in stock form. Unless they changed the tranny and cut weight I don't like it.

I just cut OEM springs, like to stay OEM.

Yea....... I guess a custom setup from Moton wont corner well in Redline Time Attack.

Tools.

Good job wasting Motons on 20" rims and no sidewalls

Sheesh...harsh much, you guys? If set up properly, it'll work out great. The guys working on the car know exactly what they're doing.

I've riden on a CLK 63 BS @ Barber Motorsports park. It had headers, tune, airbox, r-comps...

Make sure you get seat time with the transmission. It's just as lazy and anemic as you don't want it to be. An authentic slushbox that really ruins what the rest of the car is capable of. I'd hold out and pay for the C63 Black solely because of this, and the fact that it's a four door (sleeper factor) and has vastly superior suspension geometry

I don't think the C63 BS will be available in four doors. I am not sure about the sleeper factor!

Nice nice! Thanks for the pic man.

But @ $206k?? I might as well settle for used 997.2 GT3.

Couldnt agree more. I cant justify a Porsche Turbo after having the GT-R. Nearly 90k more than the GT-R for what? Refinement? Better interior? Image? The brand?

At nearly 200k, if I wanted all that I would just go buy a lightly used lambo in bright Orange and be done with it. They are getting over the top expensive.

Back on topic, clk 63 BS. I hope you have a good chiropractor Awesome car but is this going to be a daily driver? You better go drive one. Not sure where you live but its a firm ride. Thats coming from a GT-R owner on top of it.

Why not get the new C63 Coupe?

The CLK63 Black is firm but has really nice seats(at least the US version does). So I think most sports car guys could deal with the stiff suspension. The much bigger problem with the CLK63 Black is that it is completely impractical. There's no back seat and it comes stock with R compound tires, so forget about using it in a winter climate and expect to replace tires every 5000 miles.
When I bought mine I thought I had hit upon a car that was the best of both worlds(a high strung sports car mixed with an ability to be a fun DD). When I eventually sold it, in favor of a GTR, I came to the conclusion it was really the worst of both worlds. It was a terrible DD and a mediocre sports car. Yes it looks and sounds great but those two factors don't make up for the fact it was $138,500 new and an $85000 GTR can absolutely crush it as a sports car and a DD.

That's insane. For the price of the GT3RS you could get a slightly used LP-570. I just don't get the fascination with the 911's. Most people don't know how to drive them well enough for it to make a difference. I took my M5 on the track once and passed a 997 Turbo numerous times as he had no idea what he was doing in the turns. He was super fast in a straight line, but that was it.

Are you kidding me. Have you driven a LP570? They actually don't drive that well. A GT3RS is way more fun and involving to drive. A better track car so to speak.

And yes, a driver that actually knows what he or she's doing will do well on the track. It's not about the car, but about how you drive it.

I don't kno who this guy is, but his opinion is clearly suspect. GT3s aren't that cool. If Jesus drove a car on track it would probably be a GT-R.

It's very hard to get a c63 bs from what I've heard as they are nearly sold out with few if any allocations left. Those that are left are getting marked up well above msrp. I'm not looking into one currently, but I was told by someone who recently wanted to order one. That might help your decision. After all, only around 100 of the 5-600 total being produced are coming to the U.S.

Gtr's pretty much drive themselves so that wouldn't be much fun. You'd drive the gt3rs. It all depends on what you want. A car that you drive or a car that drives for you. I'm a noob on here so my opinions doesnt mean much but I've been a longtime car enthusiast on other forums. Your mileage may vary. ;-)

I like your taste in cars, however dont like the c63 one bit. I dont know why it just doesnt do anything for me.

If you had close to a 100k, I would say get a very nice 997 turbo or gt3.2 , eventhough not a torque monster it will make you very happy.

80k will get you a very nice turbo.
