LA Tint

I did several searches and nearly all of the threads recommend the Alexandria location. Unfortunately there isn't an Alexandria location on their site anymore. Does anyone have recent experience with the other locations?

Also, does anyone know if they install moleskin on the lower window seal? I emailed them a few days ago but they haven't responded.

how much is it at la tint anyway? planning to get mine done sometimes soon

I went to the Manassas location. Ask for Sorak. He used to run the Alexandria store. They offer Pinnacle F1. No, they do not install moleskin. Let me know if you find someone who does it. I got my first stratch last week.

I had my tint done at the Sterling location couple months ago after reading through bunch of reviews on the forum and was very happy with their work. I got the pinnacle f1 tint 35%.

Ok, it sounds like both Sterling and Manassas are good so I'll see what availability is like and set an appointment. As for the moleskin, I'll just install it myself. All the reviews say its very easy.

Does anyone happen to know if they offer a BMWCCA discount?

^Don't think so. The are a little pricey ~$270 for vert and $320 for coupe but I felt well worth it. They did a great job and the pinnacle f1 tint is good stuff.

I've had LA Tints on most my cars and very happy with it.. had it done at Woodbridge.. but I;m sure all locations have the same quality work

... a little discount deal can be had but you have to work it

and its "not much"

What do you mean "work?" Run the register? Sweep the floors? Answer the phones? I think I can handle that.

My e46 vert was done at the Woodbridge location and I was less than impressed. I had to take it back twice due to bubbles and now the driver side window is peeling after about a year (Pinnacle 15% all around). I've heard good things about the Manasas location though, so I may try to take it over to them to see if they can fix the hack job Woodbridge did.

Damn! You're a few hours late. My appointment was at 1pm today.

It's no big deal. I appreciate everyone's advice. The windows look great and I'm very happy. I'll wash it tomorrow and post a couple of pics.

After the tint I picked up a helmet from OG Racing, thanks to advice on this forum.

Sterling VA is the location many have recommended and where I got mine done. I am not sure if they do moleskin.
