I can't seem to find a clear answer. What is the difference between the GT2 and the GT?
Sound/tone wise and physical attribute wise.

I've seen & heard the GT2 multiple times in person, so feel free to use that as a reference point

Both GT and GT2 has the same high pitched F1'ish tone. GT2 is about one up louder than GT
