iDrive compatible with Asian letter

Hi, I have 09" e92 M3.

It has navigation, iDrive, iPod adapter, but no BMW apps.
I brought it to Beverly Hills BMW, and asked mechanic if I can upgrade firmware so I can see Korean song's titles in my iPhone.
However, they said that there are no firm ware upgrade available.

Is there anyone have upgraded their navigation firmware?
Moreover, how could affect to my warranty and maintenance if I upgrade or patch my navigation system?

FYI, BMW they sell in Korea definitely have Korean compatible iDrive system.
I'm pretty sure they're available firmware upgrade...
