Dinan with GC camber plates

Is anyone running this setup? I'm interested in the stage 1 or stage 2 Dinan suspension with the GC street camber plates, but wasn't able to find any reviews. Would these be good setups for a DD/track car?

I haven't seen any. I have a Dinan Stage II setup waiting to be installed. I am leaning heavily towards using the GC plates.

Richard from M-World showed a pic of the OEM strut mounts vrs GC plates which look like the same height. So the theory is you lose the additional 1/4" of travel with the GC plates and the dinan springs.

I haven't had a chance yet but I want to call GC to see if they can shave 1/4" off the bottom of the GC plates like Dinan does. If yes, that would be a win-win IMO.

Thanks. Let me know what you find out. Do you think it would be safer/better to go with the fixed Dinan plates?

My dinan camber plates only allow up to about 2.5 neg camber up front

if you want more, do GC

I'm not sure I would want more necessarily. I'm just looking for the on-the-fly adjustability so I could run a DD friendly setup everyday, and switch to more camber at the track.

On that note, is there an issue with on-the-fly adjustments and alignment, especially for a DD car?

With Dinan plates, the range of adjustment will be very limited. You are constrained by the mounting holes on the strut tower. GC plates, on the other hand, will have a wide range of adjustment as the mechanism is completely different.

Either way, make sure you have a repeatable method of adjusting between the 'street' and 'track' camber settings, i.e. by marking or even using a camber gauge.
