Just got my Dinan badge painted gloss black from Metropolitan Collision through Matt Watson. The work was very good.

I followed the Dinan instructions on the location to install the badge. Notice how the "D" lines up with curvature of the trunk. In retrospect, I wish I had installed it about 1" over to the left. So that the "D" begins just above the taillight housing (like how the "3" in M3 begins just above the taillight housing. Installing it 1" over to the left makes it look more symmetrical.

My twin, Jbrooks, apparently followed the Dinan instructions too.

Phil: Where did you install your badge? Same position like mine?

Yes, rear CF diffuser is all I need to complete the car (for now).

Going to be following suit and getting it painted. Probably switching everything to matte black, though.
