made it down to acm to pick up my akra slip on... left with a little more then i planned (does this happen to anyone else when they walk into a shop
![]() the akra with carbon tips looks amazing, its light, i was able to pick it up with 2 fingers, the sound... well for the price your not getting much sound, its a little deeper then stock and no drone, the ACM exhasut is much louder, the akra needs to be paired with an xpipe which will be coming next week, also my new winter setup is on the car ![]() |

Red on Red?! Definitely a first for the BMW crowd.
What color do you plan on painting them?

I thought the car was beautiful a few pics up with the OEM wheels and the nice carbon fiber lip. The wheels are just a bit much for me but certainly is unique.
My two questions are 1.Looking at the AFE intake a few pages back, it looks like the filter from afe is actually less surface area than the stock filter or other drop ins? Is it just the picture or is that the design? 2.How does driving the car stock or back to NA compare to the boosted car you have? Obvoiusly pure speed I understand but does it still feel pretty strong or is it really boring now? |

2. i sold the boosted one, but its different, the ess kit still makes the car feel stock, just alot faster, if you didnt know there was a supercharger you would just think its a really fast m3. on that note, i miss the power and will be going with a 575 sometime soon, note on the wheels, the way things fell into place yesterday and the deal i got on them, i couldnt turn it down, come spring the entire car should be done and wheels resprayed, but no point now with all the gravel on the ground in ny |

Fair enough! Good skill to be able to see the beauty and potential of something that looks hideous on the outside! The style is cool-will look really interesting with bronze/red car combo. Can't wait to see!
If the AFE filter is smaller-what is the point? Does it sound different than a drop in or what is the point? Just curious |

I was really hoping you were going to choose Bronze! It's about time someone tried it on an MR E90 M3!
I regret recently selling my white TE37. It looked pretty wild when I quickly mounted on the E90 M3, hehe. And looked incredible on my E46 M3.

I sold my white TE37s with the intention of picking Mercury Silver TE37s in 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 but they seem to be out of stock everywhere. My goal was to keep things a little "quieter" on the car. We'll see what pops up on the for sale threads, haha.

Your E90 looks amazing, white TE37s would be flashy but still good.. personally speaking bronze would look the biz
